All hiring is conducted in person only, from our office in Canton, Ohio. Fireside Tax does not conduct interviews or make job offers over email, social media, or messaging apps.

Protect Yourself from Job Scams
Unfortunately, our company name has recently been used in fraudulent job postings and impersonation attempts, including a fake profile on LinkedIn and spoofed emails. If you’ve received a suspicious message claiming to represent Fireside Tax—especially if it involves a remote job offer or asking for personal information—it is a scam.

Here’s what to know:

✅ How We Hire
All job interviews are conducted in person at our office.

• We do not make job offers over social media, LinkedIn, or third-party job boards. We do have a Handshake profile but we are not currently hiring. 
• We will never ask for your personal or banking information via email before a formal interview process.
• We will only contact you by phone to schedule an in perosn meeting. 

🚫 Common Job Scams to Avoid

• “Work-from-home” positions with high pay and no experience needed.
• Requests for your SSN, bank account, or ID before an interview.
• Offers that include sending you a check to “buy supplies” or “test” a process.
• Profiles pretending to be our business on LinkedIn, Indeed, or Facebook—always verify directly with us.
